Be careful what you wish for... After 6 weeks of wandering around the apartment by ourselves, our life has suddenly exploded with activity. On Monday, I started a new job as the Managing Editor at Oh Happy Day! Then, Tuesday I was pulled into a photo shoot they did for Banana Republic. And Wednesday and Thursday were filled with drink dates with new friends.

Whenever I start a new project, I'm afraid this blog ends up suffering a little. I have all these great ideas and good intentions, but I just don't always have the time or energy to put in. It's still a priority, I'm just trying to figure out the best way to realistically juggle everything. (Our once-clean house is currently a disaster. Tell me full-time ladies - how do you do it??)

So, this weekend Zach and I will be trying to relax a little. There's not too much on the calendar and I'm excited to relax. Also, since it's now March (what!?) I'll also be updating the blog with our new theme. Can you guess what it is? (Hint: it has something to do with the photo above. And, that's the worst hint ever.)

March's playlist is pretty upbeat. I just wasn't feeling any slow songs. It includes a little Passion Pit (who we're seeing in concert on Thursday!) and Beyonce (in honor of my new boss, Jordan, who's obsessed.) What are you listening to right now?

PS - BOY is on Spotify now. Yay!

  1. I know just what you mean with the blog problems! I tell myself it's okay because it means that I'm enjoying real life at least :)

    1. Ha! That's true. We're only human, right? We can't do everything! And, we're enjoying life in the process. I like that.

PS - I haven't talked to you in FOREVER. How are things, lovely? I saw you moved??

    1. SO glad you like it Lydia! (And thanks for the RT!)

  3. Love this playlist! You've totally just made my work day :)

  4. Congrats on the new job! That is such a sweet gig-- where do you find jobs like this?! I loveeeee my day job, but always dream about working for some of my favorite bloggers on the side :)

Also, for a mellow weekend idea, I highly recommend the Alameda Flea Market! It's kind of crowded, but can be totally chill and fun to browse if you've got nothing to do on Sunday. Just a little local FYI :)
