Isn't Michelle Williams stunning?
She serves as a reminder to me (and the annoying Trader Joe's employee who questioned my gender yesterday,) that the length of someone's hair doesn't determine their femininity. People with short hair can be just as sexy as people with long hair (if not more.)
And that's my soap box for the day.

I hope you punched that guy/girl :))
ReplyDeleteHahah. I was in shock. I thought of all the things I should have said after I left... but in the moment, I was too confused to say or do anything.
DeleteMy sister has had short hair for years and always looks fresh, charming and beautiful! Its so much to do with the person under the hair, long or short!
ReplyDeleteThis is SUCH a fascinating topic that I've been thinking a lot about as I've considered chopping off my hair over this past week. I love that you're acknowledging and posting about this. :) Your hair is beautiful and you look great, an inspiration as I consider this big chop. Thanks, lady!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your encouragement! Chopping my hair was one of the funnest decisions I ever made. It was initially shocking, but now I get compliments (except for that TJs employee) all the time. Short hair is so different and unique. Plus, my hairdresser told me that every woman should get a pixie cut at some point during their lives - just to stop wondering what it would look like. :)
DeleteI was just pinning a photo of you because next time I cut my hair off (an every 2 year thing for me) I want it to look just like your!
